This is our new axe wielder Frode!

When guitar player Erik was stolen by Denmark (and Wales), we demanded that Denmark give us something in return. Denmark agreed and send us Frode. We were happy with the offer. This is our first meeting with our cheerful Danish guy. You can read more about Frode in the Biography section of our site.

We proudly present the Kallio music video!

Now it’s finally here. For all you who missed our show att Wäiski the music video for Kallio is now online. We think it’s awesome and we hope you like it. Let us know what you think in the comments!

We also have another gig coming up. Our friends in Vintage Puppy asked us to join them at their Judgement Day gig at Lepakkomies this Wednesday. We know it’s only in two days time, but we hope to see you there.

Friday the 13th

Tomorrow’s the big day. We are going to play in a familiar venue, but still we can get quite nervous before a gig. Especially when it’s Friday the 13th. Here’s singer Johan’s recollection of one of the last rehearsals.

Happy New Year!

A crazy year has finally come to an end. Thank god. However the next might be the last. But only for mankind, not The Magic Bullet. We are eternal.

We would also like to take time to tell you about our video release party. That’s right the video is finally done. We will throw a party at old favorit Ravintolaiva Wäiski at friday the 13th of January where we will show it to the world. Come see it!

New axe wielder, come check him/her out!

Hello everyone, it’s been a while. First things first, we have a new guitarist. Mighty axe wielder Erik had to flee the country for a while and we found ourselves without a guitarist. What to do? We had to find a new one. So we initiated an extensive search and now after months of auditions and tests we are finally satisfied. We’ve found someone who could fill Erik’s migthy shoes while he’s missing. But who? That’s a secret.

But not for long. We will reveal our new magic mojo man/woman at our next gig. That’s right, we have a new gig! We are going back to our roots. On december the 3rd we’ll be playing at StudOrg’s Band Night. We’ll play some TMB classics and some fresh material, we promise you’ll be surprised. You don’t want to miss this, so see you there!

Shooting a video is fun, but if you’re Lukas it hurts.

On Thursday we enter the stage of the legendary Tavastia’s smaller sibling Semifinal — so come and join us!

Närpes 2011 Tour announced for this weekend!

It was only recently that we got confirmed our visit to Närpes, therefore this may seem sudden. First we were aiming to play at our beloved Tomatrock, but sad news reached us last weekend that the event was canceled. Johan who was stationed in Närpes did not give up that easily. He simply could not bring his home fans down, so he made a few phone calls. What followed was that we not only now have one, but two gigs in Närpes this weekend! How frikkin awesome is that??

HOT STUFF! Video shoot & new gig

After a hectic weekend of running around, getting wet and lots of other craziness, we have now completed the shooting of the Kallio video. No one in the band expected the professionalism we were treated with. We think the video will be fantastic because the people we worked with were fantastic. We can’t give you a release date at the moment, but it will be worth the wait when you get to see it. In the meantime here’s a pic of the director Nisse.
